WadFest: A Discworld Oddity

Wadfest is an annual camping event with lots of amazing stuff arranged to suit all lovers of Discworld, especially those with only a partial grip on reality or their sanity, and so always appeals greatly to the Editor. It originally came about because it was realised at a Clarecraft Weekend that there are many people who wished there was a camping weekend every year, because although there is the Convention on alternate years they felt they could not take their animals, kids or just could not afford the hotel fees.
The event takes place at the end of September to avoid any clash with the Discworld Convention, so that (in a year when there is one) people can go to both if they want to. Location is a field behind a pub in Ambergate, near Matlock Derbyshire. An amazing and even ridiculous programme is being planned for this year's event even as we speak. Distressingly, Hodgesaargh is certain to be there, and sadly without the Guide.
