BLACK EQUALS WHITE

From the works of Douglas Adams

If you take pigments in the colours of the rainbow and mix them together, the combination will produce a murky very dark shade approximating to Black. This is described by the equation:

VIO^3 + SQR(IND) + 3(BLU)
+ (GR base10 - GR base9)
+ ( 2(YEL + OR) )( - (YEL + OR)^2 )
+ (YEL + OR) + (R base9 + R base8
= VERY MUCKY PIGMENT = BLACK
If on the other hand you combine light beams in the colours of the rainbow you produce a beam of light whose colour approximates to white, using the formula: VIO^3 + SQR(IND) + 3(BLU)
+ (GR base10 - GR base9)
+ ( 2(YEL + OR) )( - (YEL + OR)^2 )
+ (YEL + OR) + (R base9 + R base8
= VERY BRIGHT RADIANCE = WHITE
Therefore Black equals White Q.E.D....!
