THE CURSE OF 42

The curse states that when the inflicted person looks at a number and consciously recognizes it, it will be 42, two numbers whose sum is 42, or a multiple of 42. (This gets really interesting when one attempts to use their calculator in a mathematics class.)
The curse is such that once one is aware of it, that person
contracts it. It thereby keeps itself alive by the very knowledge of
its existence. Further proof that the curse is sentient is the fact
that at seemingly random times the curse will become unnoticeable then
will proceed to appear in everything you see.
There is no use fighting the curse. One must learn to live with it and try not to get too annoyed with it.
