DALEKS

Perhaps the strangest entity in the universe is the Dalek, best described as a laser-packing cylinder on wheels. These beings have managed to strike fear into the hearts of millions of races, which is puzzling considering their obvious inability to climb stairs, meaning of course that all you have to do to escape one is to run up a flight of stairs, and all you have to do to disable one is to throw a hat on its little stickie out eye thingie.

Also, they rarely have the element of surprise, due to their habit of yelling out "Exterminate!" when about to kill someone. Despite these obvious handicaps, they have become the most feared race in the cosmos.
